On this day, 35 years ago, the XIV Winter Olympic Games were officially opened in Sarajevo.

They were, in many ways, special games that will be remembered not only for Bosnians and Herzegovinians, but also for many world Olympians who spent those 10 days in Sarajevo. The Sarajevo Olympics was marked as the best organized Olympics, with the largest number of competitors and a record number of countries that participated in the Winter Olympic Games.

After 35 years of remembering the February days of 1984, the cities of Sarajevo and East Sarajevo are ready to welcome young Olympians from 46 European countries, who will, from 09.02. to 02/16/2019 year, to compete at the XIV Winter EYOF.

OK BiH hereby congratulates the athletes, sports professional federations, and all Bosnians and Herzegovinians on this significant jubilee, and we invite everyone to join us at the Opening Ceremony of EYOF at the Asim Ferhatović Hase Olympic Stadium on Sunday, February 10, 2019, starting in 19.00 hours.
