51st General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees (EOC)

At the General Assembly of the EOC, which will be held in Skopje on June 10 and 11, 2022. Prof. dr. Milanko Mučibabić, President of the OC BiH and Dr. sci. Said Fazlagic, Secretary-General will participate

The winner of the Piotr Nurowski Award in winter sports has been chosen, and it is Nika Prevc, the best young European athlete in ski jumping.
The report of the CoCom Commission for the upcoming 3rd edition of the European Games to be held in Poland in 2023 was presented.


In addition to the report of the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing in 2022, the upcoming Olympics in Paris 2024 and the Winter Olympics Milano Cortina 2026 were discussed.
Of course, a special part of the session, as before, is dedicated to the European Youth Olympic Festivals, with special emphasis on the EYOF Banska Bystrica, which will be held from 24 to 30 July 2022.


The Mediterranean Games Oran 2022 were also present, which for the first time, in cooperation with the IOC, deal with some of the burning topics of the Olympic Movement, such as the prevention of competition manipulation.
In addition to the President of the European Olympic Committee, Mr. Spyros Capralos, the President of the International Olympic Committee, Dr. Thomas Bach, also addressed the General Assembly.


Our delegation led by the President of the OC BiH took the opportunity to meet with the President of the NOC of Spain Alejandro Blanco Bravo and continued talks on the possibilities of the candidacy of Barcelona and Sarajevo WOG.
Also, the President of OC BiH conducted a series of talks with the leaders of EYOF Banska Bystrica Jozef Liba and Joseph Cassar, then with the President of the World Wrestling Organization and a member of the IOC, Mr. Nenad Lalović, where the need to procure curling equipment for the curling association of BiH as the youngest member of the OC BiH was emphasized.
