Agreement on Cooperation Between The IOC and City of Sarajevo

Today, the first session of the Committee for the organization of the 40th anniversary of the Winter Olympic Games held in Sarajevo in 1984 was held, attended by the President of the Olympic Committee, academician prof. dr. Izet Rađo and General Secretary, Dr. Said Fazlagic.

Based on the decision of the Executive Committee of OK BIH, at the first session, the mayor of the city of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić and the President of the Olympic Committee of BiH, academician prof. dr. Izet Rađo, signed the Agreement on mutual rights and obligations between the City of Sarajevo and the International Olympic Committee in connection with the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Winter Olympic Games.

With this agreement, the cooperation of the International Olympic Committee and the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the City of Sarajevo for the organization of the 40th anniversary of the Winter Olympic Games was made official.
