Džejla Makaš, senior vice-champion of Europe under the age of 21.

Džejla Makaš became the senior vice-champion of Europe at the U21 European Taekwondo Championship, which is held in Bucharest, Romania.

In the first fight, our competitor defeated the representative of Germany with a score of 2:0, after which the Portuguese player also fell with an identical score. In the third round, Džejla defeated the representative of Hungary, and in the semi-final, she was better than the representative of Turkey (2:1). In the final, our great competitor ran out of strength, and in the end she was defeated by the representative of Spain, so in the end she had to settle for a silver medal.

In addition to Džejla Makaš, Marija Jokić and Amina Hrvat also had a great performance, who were also close to winning medals, but did not succeed. However, despite this, they achieved a remarkable result.

Congratulations to our Jali and all the other contestants!
