ELIT-in Consortium Partner Meeting

ELIT-in project is focused on the promotion of dual careers of athletes, with a focus on recognizing transversal competencies of elite athletes.

As part of the implementation of the Erasmus + sport project "Integration of top athletes in the labor market through the valorization of transversal competencies - ELIT-in", the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a consortium partner, attended the fifth meeting of partners, held in Rome on 12.12.2019. ELIT-in project is focused on the promotion of dual careers of athletes, with a focus on recognizing transversal competencies of elite athletes.

In accordance with the project activities, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina successfully finalized the "State of the Art" report, which consisted of preparing a questionnaire for athletes and employers, analyzing the answers and drawing conclusions on the necessary transversal skills in the integration process of elite athletes into the labor market. The data were collected from all consortium countries, a total of eight countries including Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to the report itself and the selected transversal skills, educational material in which the project team of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina also participated, was compiled. The educational material is adjusted to the methodology of online education, which is planned to start in February 2020. Athletes from all countries, and especially the countries of the Consortium, will have the opportunity to access the Elite-in platform free of charge and to attend an online educational program, specially created for the integration of top athletes into the labor market. The online program is based on the following modules:

  1. Troubleshooting
  2. Time management
  3. Teamwork
  4. Ethics in practice
  5. Entrepreneurship
  6. Communications
  7. Negotiation (OC BiH)

The educational material will be translated into Bosnian language, in order to make it easier to use and understand the online education. The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina will open an invitation for all interested athletes in BiH and beyond,  through the website and social networks. Athletes who are wishing to participate in the online training will need to register through the BiH Olympic Committee in order to receive an access code and be able to participate. Upon successful completion of the modules, each participant will receive a Certificate of Participation in ELIT's online training.

We kindly ask all those who are interested in participating in the online training to follow the website and facebook page of the BiH Olympic Committee.
