Elvedina Muzaferia finished the season in 16th place in the World Cup for women skiers

The best BiH skier, Elvedina Muzaferija, recorded her performance in the last downhill race of the season in the World Cup for women skiers in Saalbach, Austria, and left a spectacular season behind her.

Unfortunately, Elvedina was unable to finish the race in Super G, but in the race of the World Cup downhill, she took 16th place with a time of 1:46.96. Unfortunately, she did not manage to get the additional points that the top 15 contestants win.

Austrian Cornelia Huetter won this downhill race, followed by Slovenian Ilka Štuhec (+0.17), and third place went to Nicol Delago from Italy (+0.49).

Elvedina was 1.88 seconds behind the winner, and ended the season as the 24th downhiller in the world, with 69 points, which is a great success for BiH skiing.

In 23rd place, she was replaced by Ester Ledečka from Slovakia, who was ranked eleventh.

With a total of 151 points won this season, Muzaferia took 54th place in the overall standings of the World Cup for female skiers.

We congratulate Elvedina, the coach, the entire team and the BiH Ski Federation on a great season.
