EUROPEAN WEEK OF SPORTS 2022 | #BEACTIVE MOSTAR
As part of the European Week of Sports under the slogan "BeActive day" on the campus of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar (UNMO) on September 24, 2022., about 150 children participated in the activities of the Mostar Athletics School.
"The goal of this event was to encourage children to play sports and be active every day. It is very important to organize events like this because today we live in a time where people sit a lot, maybe even too much, either at computers or using smartphones, so it is important that our youngest start with daily sports activities", said the leader of the "BeActive day" project in Mostar, Prof. Dr. Sci Ekrem Čolakhodžić.
The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina together with the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar (UNMO) and the School of Athletics in Mostar provided free participation in the "BeActive Day" for children, where they also received a gift package of the European Week of Sports.
