NOC BIH special partner of 453rd jumps from Old Bridge Mostar
The goal of such support is to promote Olympic values, and above all friendship, respect and excellence, which these brave girls and boys demonstrate by jumping from the Old Bridge.
July 28, 2019, 453rd traditional jumps from the Old Bridge in Mostar in the disciplines "jumps on legs and head" will be held. The BiH Olympic Committee gladly accepted the special sponsorship of these jumps, and will financially and organizationally support the event.
The goal of such support is to promote Olympic values, and above all friendship, respect and excellence, which these brave girls and boys demonstrate by jumping from the Old Bridge.
This year's accent of the event and competition, in addition to the regular program of jumps from the Old Bridge, will be at the opening of the School of jumps for children and youth, whose leader will be Lawrence Listo, a longtime jumper and multiple and current champion in jumps from the Old Bridge.
In order to realize and concretize this important project of forming a school as well as the manifestation of jumps from the Old Bridge, the Olympic Committee of BiH hosted the honorary president of the Club of Jumpers from the Old Bridge "Mostari" and a former member of the Executive Committee of OC BiH. Mr. Emir Balić, as well as Mustafa Hadžajlić, Secretary General of the Jumping Club from the Old Bridge "Mostari", in order to formalize this special partnership, and make final preparations for the organization of this longest-running sporting event in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is an exceptional "Olympic heritage" that not many countries or cities can boast of, and we must appreciate and nurture it. We are especially happy that we will sponsor the establishment of the "School of Jumpers in Mostar" because children are our greatest wealth ", said the President of the BiH Olympic Committee Siniša Kisić.
Mr. Emir Balić also addressed the words "It is our great honor to have cooperation with the Olympic Committee of BiH. In the past, the Olympic Committee of BiH has already provided moral assistance and it meant a lot to us. This attitude of the Olympic Committee of BiH was also one of the reasons for starting this project. This is the 453rd edition of the Jumps in Mostar.The World Encyclopedia of Physical Culture, Zagreb edition, talks about the Mostar jumps as the first jumps in this area, Europe, and maybe even in the world. How UNESCO protected the Old Bridge, we also want to protect Mostar's jumps, because jumps exist as the Old Bridge is built. "
