Representatives of the Olympic Committee of BiH, president of OC BiH, academician prof. Dr. Izet Rađo and General Secretary Assoc. Dr. Said Fazlagić visited FBiH Minister of Culture and Sports Sanja Vlaisavljević and Assistant Minister in the Sports Sector, Adnana Džindo.

On this occasion, they informed the representatives of the Ministry about previously realized activities and continuous projects of support for athletes, coaches, improvement of management and promotion of Olympic values, as well as plans of OC BiH in the coming period.

President of OC BiH academician prof. Ph.D. Izet Rađo took the opportunity to inform the minister about the annual income of the OC BiH, as well as the way in which the best Bosnian athletes and projects are financed, all with the aim of transparently informing both the Ministry and the public. Most of the funds (over 60%) are provided by OC BiH through projects, which are mostly directed towards top athletes and federations.

OC BiH is not a budget beneficiary, and financial support for top sports, athletes and Olympians is necessary.

At the meeting, joint projects and steps were agreed with the aim of creating systemic solutions that will improve sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina, all in accordance with the conclusions of the round table presented in November 2020.

President of the BiH Olympic Committee, academician, prof. Dr. Izet Rađo would like to thank the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for the continuous support, as well as for the warm reception in the Ministry's premises.
