Pursuant to Article 8 of the Law on Labor in the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina (“Official Gazette of BiH” number: 26/04, 7/05, 48/05, 60/10), the Decision on the need for employment from 16.05.2019. year, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina announces

IN THE SECTOR FOR SPORT, INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND PROJECTS

To the position: "Senior Expert Associate for Projects and Marketing" to a specific position: 

Senior Expert Associate for Projects and Marketing

Job description:

  • Initiates and implements projects in the domain of its sector;
  • Prepares project documentation for applying for grants from competent administrative bodies and administrative organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
  • Monitors and analyzes EU projects, as well as Olympic Solidarity, EOC and other international sports organizations, and initiates the development of project documentation for application to the same;
  • Provides technical assistance in drafting a detailed project budget;
  • Provides professional and technical assistance in compiling applications for available grants;
  • Performs professional, technical and administrative support;
  • Provides technical assistance in correspondence with relevant domestic and international institutions in order to ensure the implementation of project activities;
  • Collaborates in the development of graphic design of the project and project promotion;
  • Performs technical realization and implementation of projects which includes: organization of premises, technical preparation for participation of lecturers in the project, organization of project participants, etc .;
  • Photographs events and provides technical assistance in publishing them on the website of OK BiH and the media;
  • Keeps and archives project and promotional documents and submits them to the archives of the OK BiH;
  • Compiles narrative and financial reports according to the propositions of donors, sponsors and business partners and monitors the implementation of contracts and projects;

Cooperates in the development and updating of marketing offers of OK BiH, implementation of marketing activities and correspondence with sponsors, donors and business partners of OK BiH;

  • Participates in drafting contract agreements with partners and within projects;
  • Archives its work and submits basic documents and contracts to the General Affairs Service;
  • Performs other tasks assigned to him by the Secretary General and is responsible for carrying out the above tasks and duties.

Education: University degree

Work experience:

  • Two (2) years of work experience in the same or similar jobs.

 

Special conditions:

  • To accept the Statute of the OK BiH and the Olympic Charter;
  • To have a thorough knowledge of the system and operation of sports and the Olympic Movement in the country and the world;
  • That he did not violate the norms and moral principles of Olympism and IOC codes;
  • To know the normative regulations that regulate the work of sports institutions;
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to produce written documents and presentations;
  • Computer skills;
  • Knowledge of an official IOC language, English or French;
  • Preference is given to candidates who have experience in working on EU projects (Erasmus, Erasmus + Sport and IPA).

Number of executors: one (1) executor

 

The right to apply for the competition has candidates who, in addition to the above special conditions, must meet the following general conditions for employment:

  • that he is a citizen of BiH (certificate of citizenship, not older than 6 months),
  • that he is an adult (birth certificate),
  • not covered by the provision of Article IX. paragraph 1 of the Constitution of BiH (certified statement not older than 3 months),
  • that he is physically and mentally fit to perform the job for which he has applied (medical certificate, not older than 3 (three) months) and
  • that no criminal proceedings have been instituted against him (certificate of no criminal proceedings, not older than 3 months) or that he has not been sentenced to imprisonment for a criminal offense committed with intent in accordance with the criminal laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina (certificate of impunity, no older than 3 months).

The competition is open for 10 (ten) days from the day of publication in the media.

NOTE: The Selection Committee will select candidates based on the data from the application and candidates who meet the conditions set by the Competition will be invited for an interview (on the phone number that the candidate lists as a contact phone).

For diplomas obtained abroad after April 6, 1992. years, nostrification is required.

The signed application that is submitted is valid only for the specified competition.

         Candidates are required to enclose with the application originals or certified copies of documents as stated in the general and special conditions of the Competition.

Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
