The first and second day of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games

BH Taekwondoist Nedžad Husić competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, opening his first appearance at the Olympic Games with two victories, against the local representative Ricardo Suzuki, with a score of 22-2 at the point gap, and in the quarterfinals he defeated the Egyptian Mahmoud Abdulrahman with a score of 8: 7.After two victories in the taekwondo Olympic tournament, he lost to Uzbek Rashitov 28-5. In the fight for third place, Nedzad was defeated by the Turks Recber Hakan with a score of 22-13, our best taekwondoist finished his performance at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, in fifth place in the category up to 68 kg.

WITH THIS, NEDŽAD HUSIĆ ACHIEVED THE BEST RESULT IN THE HISTORY OF BIH AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES.

Our youngest Olympian Lana Pudar competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the 100m dolphin discipline. Great Lana finished the race with a time of 58.32. With this result, she took 19th place out of 33 swimmers, Lana was missing 24 hundredths to be in the semifinals of the 100m dolphin. This was certainly a year to remember for young Lana, and we expect her to present Bosnia and Herzegovina in an even better light at the next Paris 2024 Olympics.

BH shooter Tatjana Đekanović performed on the first day of Ol Tokyo 2020 in the 10m air rifle discipline and presented Bosnia and Herzegovina in a dignified manner, achieving a result of 613.2 rounds, which was enough for the 47th place out of 50 competitors.

With this, Tatjana ended her performance at the XXXII Olympic Games.
