Redžović Gold, Jasmina Merdić in the final and two more bronzes

The representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina in kickboxing won 4 medals, three in the senior competition and one in the veteran competition at the World Championship, which was held in the Portuguese city of Albufeira from 16 to 25 November 2023. years.

In the semi-final fight, Jasmina Merdić won against Czech Lucia Mlejnikova and advanced to the finals, where she will fight for the title of World Champion against Serbia's Lea Blagojević.

First place, World Champion in the category of veterans over 94 kg, was won by Adnan Redžović, defeating German Hofer Mike, Croatian Ivić Ivica and, in the final fight, Austrian David Dvornikovich.

Third place, bronze medals were won by:
Alija Tucak, category over 91 kg in K1, who defeated Monteiro Lucas Henriqua from Brazil in the qualifiers, but was defeated by Ukrainian Shcherbatiuk Roman;

Dino Ružnić, category up to 74 kg in Light Contact, 3 victories in the qualifications against Mour Johnatan Vieira from Brazil, against the Pole Durm Adrian, the Slovenian Zajec Simon, but in the fourth semi-final fight he lost to the Austrian Kassarnig Valentin.

The members of the national team who achieved victories in the qualifications, but unfortunately did not manage to win a place for a medal this time, remained without medals, namely:
Jana Đerić, Rijad Kasapovic, Vedad Ćutuk, Jasmin Ramić, Albert Ugrinčić, Vujanović Cvijetin, Selimović Mesud, Lugan Amar, Šehović Abdulkerim, Svaraka Faris, Okerić Tarik and Nikola Drobnjak.
