The project "Sport as a value" promotes and integrates the positive values of sports activities within the Balkans.

At the beginning of 2023, the project "Sport as a value" financed by Erasmus+ launched a two-year journey in which countries from the Balkan region and the European Union joined together for a common goal; integrate positive values into sports practice and build stronger communities through sports and the promotion of EU values.

Representatives of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the conference and meeting of partners of the Sport as Value project in Lisbon between October 12 and 14.

On this occasion, they presented good sports practices in Bosnia and Herzegovina and attended workshops organized by ENGSO (THE EUROPEAN SPORTS NGO) entitled "Strengthening sports for a stronger community".

Also, representatives of OK BIH attended the presidential "High level meeting" together with partners of the Western Balkans led by the President of ENGSO, where the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina was offered membership in ENGSO, which will pave the way for strengthening sports and Olympic values in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
