The 5th General Assembly of the OK BiH was held

All reports were unanimously adopted with many compliments for the work of OK BiH from the delegates present from 41 sports federations of BiH.

In the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 21, 2024 the 5th regular General Assembly of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in the presence of delegates from 41 sports federations of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The session was chaired by the president of OC BiH academician, prof. Dr. Izet Rađo.

The report of the Supervisory Board of OC BiH was presented by Tomislav Cvitanušić, the report on the work for the year 2023 by the vice-president prof. Dr. Milanko Mučibabić, the Financial Report for 2023 and the Financial Plan for 2024 were presented by the president of OC BiH academician prof. Izet Rađo, Ph.D., while the OC BiH Work Plan for 2024 was presented by Marijan Kvesić, vice president of the OC BiH.

The delegates of the General Assembly unanimously adopted all the presented reports.

After a 23-minute film in which all the activities of the OK BiH in 2023 were briefly presented, the delegates and guests praised the scope and quality of the activities, the fruitful and harmonious work of the BiH Olympic Committee with a focus on top sports and athletes.

In addition to the report they adopted, the delegates expressed a clear position and determination to continue the campaign of systemic financing of top sports, which is aimed at the ministries responsible for financing sports, but also to continue supporting the best athletes of BiH, especially those who are preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympics, with the single goal of achieving the best results at the OG so far.

The General Assembly of OC BiH ended with a joint photo where all delegates wore "retro" tracksuits from the time of WOG Sarajevo '84 in order to symbolically remember the glorious days of BiH sports in the past, but also hinted at the continuation of excellent results and a bright future for BiH sports.
