At the Division III-B World Championship in ice hockey, which is held in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, our national team registered its third victory and ensured playing a match that brings placement in the higher ranks of world hockey.

The hockey players of our national team registered convincing victories against the national team of Iran with a score of 3:0 (1:0, 2:0, 0:0), the national team of the Philippines 6:3 (2:0, 2:1, 2:2) and the national team of Singapore 9 :2 (4:1, 3:1, 2:0), while after overtime they lost the match against the Hong Kong national team 3:3 (1:2, 2:1 0:0 - overtime 0:1).

There is one more round left until the end of the Division III-B World Championship, which is being held in Sarajevo.

The leader in the table is the North Korean national team with 12 points, Bosnia and Herzegovina has ten points, Hong Kong eight, the Philippines six, while Singapore and Iran have no points.

Our hockey players will play a direct duel in the fifth, and also the last, round for first place against the North Korean national team on Thursday, February 29, 2024. starting at 20:00 in the large hall of KSC Skenderija "Mirza Delibašić".

As a reminder, the first-placed national team will win placement in the higher ranking division III-A, and the last-placed team will be relegated to division IV of world hockey.
