Two medals for BiH team at the World Martial Arts Games

Nikola Drobnjak, representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in kick boxing, won a silver medal at the World Martial Arts Games held in Saudi Arabia.

Drobnjak, who is the only representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in kick boxing at this competition, won a medal in the low kick discipline - 81 kg.

In the first match he was better than the local competitor Marwan Bukhari, and in the semi-final against Abdall Hussein from Egypt. Our representative won 3:0 in both matches. The Brazilian Ferraz Dos Santos Lucas Rafael was better than him in the final match with the same result.

Together with Drobnjak, the kickboxing team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented at this competition by his coach and the selector of our national team, Salko Zildžić.

Karate athlete Anes Bostandžić also performed at these games, winning a bronze medal. The two were the only representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the "World Combat Games 2023", which are held from October 20 to 30 in Riyadh. At these games, each category is limited to eight competitors, the best from the last world and continental competitions or the ranking list of federations.

Sincere congratulations to the athletes, coaches and federations.
