At the World Judo Championship for veterans, which takes place from 31.10. until 03.11.2023. in Abu Dhabi, vice president of OK BiH prof. dr Milanko Mučibabić, multiple European and world veteran champion, won another in a series of gold medals for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which confirms the continuity of the excellent results of the Vice President of the OK BiH in this category. Earlier this year, he won gold for veterans at the European Championships in Slovenia.

Prof. Dr. Mučibabić holds the 9th DAN master's title in judo, which is the highest title of this Olympic sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also beyond. He has been actively involved in judo for 58 years as an athlete and sports worker. On the way to the 9th DAN master's title, he achieved exceptional success as a competitor, trainer and sports worker. During the golden period of sports in the former Yugoslavia, he won European and world medals as a competitor and coach of the national team (1981, 1982, 1986), and he is the most decorated veteran of judo sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a multiple European and world veteran champion (2010, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2023).

President prof. Dr. Mučibabić, as a prominent athlete and sports worker for many years, is an example to young people that sport has no boundaries.
