The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted a joint action as part of the Erasmus+ project Sports as Value, which aims to integrate positive values ​​into sports practice, build a stronger community through sports, and promote EU values ​​on May 30, 2024. 

As part of the EU-funded project Sports as Value, yesterday, together with partners from the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, we implemented a joint action, Olympic day.

Over 150 children attended the Olympic day, and tried their hand at 9 grassroots sports: basketball, handball, karate, football, volleyball, golf, archery, table tennis, and badminton.

The coaches taught the children basic Olympic and sports values:

Inclusion

Fair play

Entertainment

Tolerance

Equality

Teamwork

Freedom

Education

This event contributes to raising awareness of the importance of sports values ​​and their integration, i.e. increasing the capacity of the involved participants, and supporting a sense of cooperation and togetherness as fundamental premises for further cooperation.

We want to thank the President and Secretary general of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee for successfully implementing the joint action and promoting Olympic and sports values.
