The senior representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in speed skating (Short Track), Tarik Omeragić, took part in two World Cups that were held in Montreal (Canada) from 20 - 22.10 and 27 - 29.10.2023. years.

At the first World Cup, in the competition of the 56 best speed skaters in the world, Tarik took 38th place in the 1500 m, while at the second World Cup in the competition of the 58 best seniors from 29 countries in the same discipline, he finished the race in 34th position, and in the 1000 m discipline took 39th place.

The World Cup races were attended by the world's best speed skaters and candidates for the ZOI.

"Our national team member, considering the progress achieved, if he continues with quality work and commitment, we in Federation can expect him to eventually be among the 33 best speed skaters in the world and secure an appearance at the ZOI through the qualifications," said the Federation of Skating Sports.
