Bh. karate players won 4 medals at the World Championship for cadets, juniors and U21

The karate national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina performed at the 12th World Championship for cadets, juniors and U21, which was held in Konya/Turkey in the period from October 26-30, 2022.

Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by 33 competitors and the following results were achieved:

  1. Silver medal - Pavle Dujaković, U21 -60 kg
  2. Bronze medal - Emina Sipović, junior -59 kg
  3. Bronze medal - Anes Bostandžić, U21 + 84 kg
  4. Bronze medal - Luka Pejić, juniors -63 kg

Notable results were achieved by:

  • Omar Halilović 5th place juniors -76 kg
  • Emir Halilović 5th place in the cadet -52 kg
  • Kemal Nezirić 7th place juniors -76 kg
  • Adna Rebronja 9th place in U21 -50kg f

The BiH karate team won silver and three bronze medals and took 21st place overall.

The competitors were led by the selectors:

Lejla Ferhatbegović -Dizdarević, Armin Topalović, Adnan Arnautović, Boris Jeličić, Goran Đekić, Edhem Halilović.

Union representative: Miroljub Kremenović, President of the Communist Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Leader of the delegation: Admir Zukan, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina
