Saran Media Group is the new partner of the Mediterranean Games

The International Committee of the Mediterranean Games (ICMG) and Saran Media Group have announced a significant, long-term strategic partnership, making Saran Media Group the official broadcaster and principal commercial partner of the Mediterranean Games and the Mediterranean Beach Games through 2034.

This multi-year agreement, the first of its kind, brings together two organizations united by a shared vision to raise the profile, presentation and global reach of Mediterranean sport. The partnership is conceived as a long-term collaboration focused on innovation, carefully crafted video storytelling and creating sustainable value for the Games, athletes, host cities and international audiences.

For the ICMG, the partnership represents a strategic decision aligned with its mission to promote sport and Olympism and the ideals and values they represent across Mediterranean countries. Through this collaboration, the ICMG aims to enhance the overall quality, visual identity and international visibility of the Mediterranean Games and the Mediterranean Beach Games, strengthening their appeal to athletes, host cities, commercial partners and broadcasters. The ICMG is establishing a more consistent, sustainable model that empowers Mediterranean youth, improves the presentation of the Games and reinforces the long-term legacy and relevance of the Mediterranean sporting movement.

Under the agreement, Saran Media Group assumes full responsibility as the official broadcaster, delivering live television, radio and digital coverage for all sports, as well as for opening and closing ceremonies. Saran will play a key role in shaping a consistent broadcasting and production model for the Games, introducing cutting-edge technologies and a distinctive editorial approach aligned with the highest international standards, and positioning coverage toward the future.

By establishing a single long-term official partner, the ICMG and Saran Media Group jointly address delivery risks related to late preparations, rising costs and fragmented production responsibilities. The model enables early planning, technical continuity, simplified coordination and consistent delivery standards across host cities and editions.

As part of the wider strategic partnership, Saran Media Group will also have a visible presence at Games venues through carefully integrated branding on limited advertising boards and large screens, confirming its role as a long-term partner invested in the growth, identity and international standing of the Mediterranean Games rather than as a conventional event sponsor.
