The cheerleading team of BiH won its first medal

An international tournament was held in Dubrovnik over the weekend, in which 15 countries and over 1,500 athletes participated.
The senior women of the Croatian cheerleading club Široki represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in two disciplines. Valentina Kraljević and Natalija Galić won gold in the duo discipline and placed in the top 30 best performances, so they had to perform again on Sunday evening to fight for the cash prize.

Unfortunately, due to Valentina's minor injury, the performance in the top 30 was abandoned. The decision was made not to take any risks, since the girls soon expect a lot of competition with the club. In the solo discipline, Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by Nikolina Čolak.

After only 24 seconds of the performance, she ran out of music due to technical problems.

She performed the rest of the performance for exactly one minute and 6 seconds with the support of a large audience in Dubrovnik who applauded her until the end. Her reaction when the music stopped thrilled even the judges who clapped along with the audience until the end of the performance.

She was offered to repeat the performance, which Nikolina refused, the judges scored her according to the performance and she won the gold medal. In the top 30, unfortunately, Nikolina did not manage to win a cash prize, she finished in seventh place.

The sponsor of the International Tournament in Dubrovnik is the Tourist Board of the City of Dubrovnik as well as the City of Dubrovnik. The competition lasted 3 days.
