H.E. Nelson pointed out his satisfaction with the fact that the BiH Olympic Committee is one of the shining examples of an institution working to improve sports, and stressed that he and the US Embassy are looking forward to future cooperation.

Today, the President of OC BiH, Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo, hosted HE Eric Nelson the US Ambassador in BiH at the premises of the BiH Olympic Committee.

President Prof. Dr. Rađo and HE Nelson got acquainted in detail with the organization and work of the OC BiH, activities and many realized projects of the Olympic Committee of BiH in the field of support to athletes and sports federations of BiH, European projects, and recently successfully organized EYOF Sarajevo and East Sarajevo 2019. The President of OC BiH especially referred to the successful cooperation between the US Embassy in BiH and OC BiH through the project "Winter Olympic Academy", whose mission was to promote Olympic values ​​- excellence, friendship and respect among the youth of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

H.E. Nelson pointed out his satisfaction with the fact that the BiH Olympic Committee is one of the shining examples of an institution working to improve sports, and stressed that he and the US Embassy are looking forward to future cooperation. After the meeting, H.E. Nelson also visited the Olympic Museum, where he was introduced to the history of the Sarajevo Olympics and the Olympic movement in BiH, as well as the process of renovating the Olympic Museum building.

In the end, the President of the OC BiH handed out symbolic gifts and invited H.E. Nelson to attend the event Athlete of the Year, which is organized by OC BiH and present one of the valuable awards to our best athletes, coaches or teams.
