Bosnia and Herzegovina's middle-distance runner Amel Tuka won second place at the Czech Indoor Gala meeting in Ostrava in the 800-meter race with a time of 1:48.09, which was won by Tunisian Abdessalem Ayouni.

The Tunisian won with a time of 1:47.97, while Croatian Marino Bloudek was third with a time of 1:48.76.

After five weeks of preparations in the Republic of South Africa, this was Tuki's first indoor performance of the season.
