Amel Tuka visited the Olympic Museum in Sarajevo

Tuka: When I see the exhibits, I am full of emotions, additional adrenaline and motivation to contribute to my BiH with my result

Today, the best athlete in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Amel Tuka, visited the renovated building of the Olympic Museum in Sarajevo.

Tuka did not hide his enthusiasm that in the Museum, he had the opportunity to see the exhibits from the Winter Olympic Games held in Sarajevo in 1984, which remind of the days of the greatest glory of the capital of BiH and Olympic values. The exhibits from the recently held European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) Sarajevo and East Sarajevo 2019 were also fascinating here.

I am delighted because the Olympic Museum has been renovated, which shines in this light and that I, as an athlete, can see what happened in 1984 at the Olympics in Sarajevo. When I see these exhibits, I am overjoyed and full of emotions, additional adrenaline and motivation to contribute to my BiH with my result as the current representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina and an Olympian. The Museum is really something special and I would like to tell all citizens and athletes, not only in BiH but also in the region, to come and visit the Olympic Museum, to see that beauty and to experience that special feeling, said Tuka.

He also thanked the BiH Olympic Committee for its long-term commitment to the restoration of this beautiful building, which is one of the main symbols of the history of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
