The representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Heraklion 2023 Mediterranean Beach Games finished their individual performances in karate - kata.

Isidora Borovčanin and Ilda Muzurović performed on the first competition day. In the competition of 22 contestants, Muzurović took 13th place, while Borovčanin took 18th place overall.

On the second day of the Games, at the "Karteros Beach Sports Center", Tarik Salkić and Miralem Jašarspahić performed in the men's competition of 23 competitors from Mediterranean countries. Salkić and Jašarspahić achieved 9th place overall.

The coach of BiH karate team, Mujo Gec, stated that he was satisfied with the performance of the young BiH national team, which achieved a notable success by participating in the Mediterranean Beach Games for the first time and as well as taking into consideration that the Mediterranean countries who participated dominate karate at the European level and overall world scene.
