The 41st edition of EuroBasket 2022 will take place from 1 to 18 September 2022
Bosnia and Herzegovina is in Group B, which can easily be labeled the 'group of death' at FIBA EuroBasket 2022. At least four teams from this group have realistic expectations of reaching the podium in Berlin.
Selector Adis Bećiragić took 12 basketball players to the European Championship, and the colors of our selection will be defended by captain Miralem Halilović, Jusuf Nurkić, Džanan Musa, John Roberson, Aleksandar Lazić, Amar Gegić, Emir Sulejmanović, Kenan Kamenjaš, Adin Vrabac, Edin Atić, Ajdin Penava and Sani Champara.
Like the previous two editions, four countries will co-host the tournament. Matches in the group stage will take place in the Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany and Italy. The knockout stage is played in Berlin, Germany.
Our basketball players will play their first game at Eurobasket on September 1 against Hungary, followed by duels against:
Germany: September 3
Slovenia: September 4
France: September 6
Lithuania: September 7
