Brkić achieved historic success and entered the quarterfinals of Roland Garros with Ćaćić

Tomislav Brkić continues to write the history of Bosnian and Herzegovinian tennis. Our tennis player entered the quarterfinals of Roland Garros in the doubles with Nikola Ćaćić.

Brkić, the 66th doubles player in the world, and Ćaćić (53rd) defeated the favored Simone Bolelli (54th) and Maxim Gonzalez (42nd) in the eighth finals with the result 2:0 in sets after only an hour and 15 minutes of play. Bolelli and Gonzalez opened the match brilliantly and took the lead with 2:0, but our and Serbian tennis player managed to make two breaks and solve the first set in their favor with the result 6:4.

Brkić and Ćaćić made a break in the third game of the second set and routinely kept it, so they won the second part of the game with the result 6:4 and went on.

In the quarterfinals, they will play against the better players from the duel Herbert / Mahut and Haase / Struff.

Sincere congratulations!!!
