Bronze medal for Mesud Pezer at the European Cup in throwing

After an excellent performance at the beginning of this month at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow and winning ninth place in extremely strong competition, the Olympian and shot putter from Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to string excellent results.

At the European Throwing Cup held in Leiria, Portugal, Mesud Pezer won the bronze medal by throwing the shot at a length of 20.58 meters, successfully ending the winter athletics season.

The BiH Olympian had a very consistent performance in the series, so in the first series he threw 20.22, in the second 20.44, in the third 20.58, in the fourth 20.42, in the fifth 20.56, and in the sixth 20.55 meters.
By winning the bronze medal, Pezer included BiH in the list of medal winners at this competition.

As a reminder, last month Pezer won the title of Balkan champion at the Balkan indoor championship in Istanbul, and his personal and BH title. the indoor record, which was 21.15 meters until this season, improved to 21.42 meters after six years. Personal and BH. the outdoor record is 21.48 meters.

Thanks to an excellent season, Mesud is currently in 13th place on the ranking list, which is enough for the Olympic Games in Paris, because the first 33 go to the OI.
For norm A (21.50), Pezer is missing 8 cm.
