Džanan Musa selected in the best five of the Euroleague!

Džanan Musa was elected to the top five of the basketball Euroleague after the votes of fans, coaches, team captains, and journalists were counted.

Along with Musa, his teammate Walter Tavares, Partizan player Mathias Lessort, Lorenzo Brown from Maccabi, and Saša Vezenkov from Olympiacos were included in the ideal five.

Musa averaged 15.2 points with an average utility index of 16.4 this season in the Euroleague, and in both statistical categories, he finished in tenth place at the end of the league.

With 175 free throws, he set a new Euroleague record and three times he was named the best player of the round.

Musa received the most votes from the fans, who make up 25 percent of the overall decision, and 25 percent are decided by the votes of coaches, team captains, and journalists.

The basketball representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina and guard of Real Madrid received the most votes from fans - 9.87 percent ahead of Olympiacos wing center Saša Vezenkov (8 percent) and Partizan center Mathias Lessort (6.89 percent).

They are followed by Partizan guards Kevin Punter (4.59 percent) and Dante Exum (3.98 percent), Olympiacos guard Thomas Walkup (3.64 percent), Zach Leday (2.88 percent), Nikola Mirotic (2.42 percent ), Lorenzo Brown (2.36 percent)...

The votes of the fans accounted for only 25 percent of the overall decision, and 25 percent were decided by the votes of coaches, team captains, and journalists.

The Euroleague will soon announce the name of the most valuable player (MVP), and the favorite for that award is Vezenkov.
