The 2023 World Basketball Championship will be held in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Japan. In the Swiss city of Mies, on August 31, a qualifying draw was held for 32 European teams divided into 8 groups. Bosnia and Herzegovina is in Group F with the national teams of Lithuania, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic.

The three best selections from each group pass to the next group phase in which there will be four groups of six selections. Ultimately, the 12 best teams in Europe will be placed at Mundobasket 2023. The first part of the qualification starts on 22-30.11. this year, then in February, June, and July 2022. The last qualifications for Mundobasket will be held in the period from  22.08 2022. to 28.02.2023.
