The Embassy of Japan in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a farewell reception on the occasion of the end of the mandate of H.E. ITO Makoto, Ambassador of Japan in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The official reception was attended by representatives of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, President prof. dr. Milanko Mučibabić, Vice President Mr. Marijan Kvesić, and general secretary dr. sci. Said Fazlagić. On this occasion, the representatives of the OC BiH presented a suitable gift with thanks to the Ambassador for the cooperation during the past mandate, and especially the Summer Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

Gratitude to our country for the hospitality and cooperation of H.E. ITO Makoto, was also published on the official website of the Embassy of Japan:

"My two-year mission as an ambassador is coming to an end, and at the end of this month, I am leaving this beautiful country.

During my stay, both on a private and official level, I encountered the sincere support and cooperation of numerous friends from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Japan.

Thanks to your cooperation, I have achieved great success in improving bilateral relations.

Once again, I want to express my sincere gratitude and I also want to say that our Embassy will continue to contribute to the strengthening of our strong relations.

My successor is coming in December. I look forward to your kind cooperation and support that you will provide him, the same that you have provided to me.
