The Games are officially opened!

The opening ceremony of the II European Games was held tonight in the capital of Belarus - Minsk at the DINAMO stadium in front of about 21,000 spectators.

More than 4,000 athletes from 50 European countries took part in the opening ceremony in the ceremonial parade.

At the Opening Ceremony in Minsk the flag of our country was led and carried by the athlete with the highest international ranking and the most trophy judoka - Larisa Cerić, while she was proudly accompanied by the rest of Bosnia and Herzegovina. a team at these Games that has 16 athletes and 9 coaches. 

Let us remind you, the European Games are an international multi-sport event, in which athletes from European countries perform. The Games are held under the auspices of the European Olympic Committee and are held every four years. The EG MINSK 2019 sports program will feature 15 sports in 23 disciplines, eight of which will offer qualifying opportunities for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
