For the first time in history, Bosnia and Herzegovina has a player in the eighth-finals of Grand Slam!

Tomislav Brkić, paired with Serbian player Nikola Ćaćić, advanced to the eighth-finals of Roland Garros today with the result 2:1. Brkić and Ćaćić secured a place in the second round of the Grand Slam with a victory against Spain's Marcel Granollers-Pujol and Argentine's Horace Zeballos.

Tennis double Brkić and Ćaćić won the first set with the result 6:3, while the rivals won the second set with the same result and equalized to 1:1. The third, decisive set for the eighth-finals, Brkić and Ćaćić won with the same result 6:3.

The match lasted a total of 1 hour and 44 minutes, and the next match will be played against the better players from the duel Chardy / Martin - Bolelli / Gonzalez.
