We received the sad news that the captain of the golden generation of BC Bosna, Žarko Varajić, passed away at the age of 67.

Varajic will especially be remembered for his masterful game in the Champions Cup final against Emerson, when he scored 45 points, which is still a record for the final game.

Žarko Varajić is the winner of the silver Olympic medal from Montreal in 1976, as well as the winner of the Sixth April Award of Sarajevo
