The best judoka from Bosnia and Herzegovina continues the continuity of top results!

Larisa Cerić won a silver medal at the prestigious Grand Prix Zagreb 2019. During the competition that brought together the world's best judokas, Larisa advanced to the finals of the Grand Prix with victories over the representatives of Croatia, South Korea, Hungary and Turkey. Unfortunately, due to a shoulder injury in the semi-final fight in which, despite that, she won, according to the advice of the IJF doctors and consultations with her team, Larisa did not perform in the final fight. With this result, Larisa also won new points for the world ranking list and the Olympic Games. With the existing ranking, Larisa has already gathered points for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, but must maintain them until the end of the qualifying cycle - May 2020.

Overall, 86 countries and 552 competitors took part in this year's Grand Prix. With this result, Larisa Cerić continues through the highest international medals. We remind you that she also won a double silver medal at the recently concluded European Games Minsk 2019, since the Games also had the character of the official European Judo Championship. Along with Larisa Cerić, her coach Arijana Jaha and the president of the Judo Federation, Prof. Dr. Branislav Crnogorac, were at the Grand Prix. Petar Zadro and Harun Sadiković from the judo team at the City Prix Zagreb 2019 also performed, but despite the good fights provided by the BiH judo team, they still failed to qualify for the second round. Along with them were coaches Željko Zadro and the captain of the BiH men's team Ibro Miladin.

Sincere congratulations to the best BiH athlete, scholarship holder of the BiH Olympic Committee, with a wish for a fast recovery on the way to new sports feats!
