Leaders of BIH Volleyball NF visited NOC BIH

Leaders of the Olympic Committee of BiH, President Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo, Vice Presidents Marijan Kvesic and Sinisa Kisic, and Secretary General Said Fazlagic, welcomed today in the premises of OC BiH, the representatives of the Volleyball Federation of BiH, President Alija Fatić, Vice President Milutin Popović, Secretary General Adnan Talić and Technical Secretary Dino Bećiragić.

The main topic of the meeting was the organization of the U19 European Volleyball Championship in our country. The President of the Volleyball Federation of BiH explained that the Volleyball Federation of BiH, together with the Volleyball Federation of Croatia, will organize the U19 European Championship for juniors from August 20 to September 2, 2020. The competition will be attended by 12 best junior national teams of Europe, and part of the group stage matches, and the semifinal and final match will be held in Zenica Arena.

The President of OC BiH, Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo was delighted with the fact that Bosnia and Herzegovina will host such an important competition, and pointed out that the OC BiH is ready and willing to help the Volleyball Federation of BiH within its capabilities and competencies. President Radjo also noted that in the past the OC BiH and the Volleyball Federation of BiH had excellent cooperation in the implementation of the projects "Technical courses for coaches" and "Development of the national sports structure", and introduced the new OC BiH project that aims to help the Olympic sports federations in the organization of state competitions and assist in the procurement of equipment. The leaders of the OC BiH wished good luck to the Volleyball Federation of BiH in the upcoming activities related to the organization of the competition.
