Medals for NOC BIH scholarship holders in taekwondo

Taekwondo representatives won nine medals for Bosnia and Herzegovina at the European Club Taekwondo Championship in Sofia, among which are the NOC BIH scholarship holders Nedžad Husić (silver) and Marija Jokić (gold).

Nedžad Husić won the silver medal in the senior category in a competition of 27 competitors. In the final match against the representatives of Tunisia, Husić was left without a gold medal but won additional points for the world ranking list and a better position at the upcoming World Championship in Baku.

Marija Jokić won the gold medal in the category of junior women up to 68 kilograms. After being free in the first round, she achieved victories over the representatives of Greece and Serbia, in order to defeat the representative of Turkey in the final match, thus continuing her excellent results.

In the competition for cadets up to 172 cm, Afan Demirović won second place, cadet Hena Melez won third place in the competition up to 148 cm, and Lamija Alihodžić also won bronze.

Apart from the aforementioned Marija Jokić, Ema Kurić in the category up to 59 kilograms, Nihada Hodžić in the category up to 63 kilograms, and Sara Pidro in the category up to 68 kilograms won medals in the junior women's competition. Junior Benjamin Husić won bronze in the category up to 68 kilograms.
