MUSTAFA JAMAK 18th AT EUROPEAN TRIATHLON JUNIOR CUP IN YENISEHIR

Our triathlete, junior representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in triathlon, 15-year-old Mustafa Jamak, last weekend took part in the European Junior Cup held in Yenisehir, Turkey, and took 18th place out of a total of 38 competitors.

Mustafa finished the race at 58:10 and entered the finish line 3 minutes after the winner, and in the overall standings, he was 2nd of his age.

This is a great result if you take into account that he was one of the youngest competitors and that this is his first junior race at the European level in the semi-Olympic distance (800m swimming, 20km cycling, 5km running). It remains a pity for the unconquered points and the historic placement on the European junior ranking list, missed in about 10 seconds.

Since this is the first race of the season, it is evident that Mustafa's physical fitness is at a high level in this extremely demanding sport, so we are looking forward to the next races and hope for even better results.
