Nedžad Husić has qualified for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020!

Bosnia and Herzegovina will have a representative at the Olympic Games in Taekwondo! Nedžad, welcome to the #BHTeam Tokyo 2020 Olympics!!

At the qualifying tournament held in Sofia, Nedžad Husić achieved three victories and a place in the finals, and thus the norm for participating in the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

In the first match, Husic defeated the representative of Belarus with 16:1, in the second he was better than the representative of Greece with 12:4, while in the semifinal fight he was better than the Israeli with 29:7. In the final match, Husic fights against the representative of Turkey.

Marija Štetić and Dinko Šegedin also performed at the qualifications, but they did not manage to qualify. Štetić was better than the representative of the Czech Republic in the first match with 13:2, but in the second match she was defeated by the representative of the "RTA" (Refugee Olympic Team) team. In the first match, Dinko Šegedin fought against the representatives of Northern Macedonia with 17:9.
