NOC BiH recognized as an example of good practice

We are extremely honored and pleased to inform you that in the new edition of the Olympic Solidarity book entitled "Managing Olympic Sport Organizations", OC BiH is presented as a final example of good and successful practice of management and education of human resources in Olympic sports organizations around the world.

We are extremely honored and pleased to inform you that in the new edition of the Olympic Solidarity book entitled "Managing Olympic Sport Organizations", OC BiH is presented as a final example of good and successful practice of management and education of human resources in Olympic sports organizations around the world. This excellent book, which was first published in 2008, was designed to help sports organizations around the world to adopt and establish the principles of effective management with the aim of managing change in modern sports. It also serves as a textbook for “Advanced Sports Management Courses” and benefits all the people involved in sports organizations who are looking for a way to improve certain aspects of management in their organizations.

Therefore, the positive practice of the BiH Olympic Committee will be available in all 206 NOCs around the world in a book that reflects modern knowledge, practices and challenges of sports organizations. It is important to mention that the implementation of the Advanced Sports Management Courses of the OC BiH is underway and is attended by 24 sports workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The education takes place online and aims to improve sport federations and the entire sport system in BiH. The program follows the basic management areas and the expected duration is seven modules in the duration of two working days per each module. The curriculum is fully dictated by the IOC, and is designed in collaboration with more than 150 world-renowned experts in sport management and includes learning about the key competencies necessary for successful management of sport organizations.
