Yesterday, the Vice President of the BIH NOC, Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo, visited the Organizing Committee of the European Taekwondo Championship in Sarajevo.

On this occasion, he once again thanked the excellent cooperation that the Olympic Committee of BiH has with the Taekwondo Federation of BiH and once again congratulated all the organizers on the organization of this competition in very difficult conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

We remind you that the Taekwondo Federation of BIH is the organizer of the European Championship for seniors in the Olympic categories and the European Cadet Championship in Taekwondo 2020, which is being held in Sarajevo 10-13th December. The Organizing Committee said that all competitions take place in compliance with all epidemiological measures of the competent institutions.

Our BIH the competitors also won the first medals yesterday. Gold medals were won by Fahrudin Adilović in the category up to 57 kg and Benjamin Husić in the category up to 53 kg. BIH competitors also won two additional medals: Benjamin Ibrahimkadić (silver) and Omer Mehmedović (bronze).

The European Taekwondo Championship ends today, and more cadet fights are scheduled.
