As part of the implementation of the Erasmus + sport project entitled "SPORT4RULES - spreading positive values through improving the role of judges", 19 and 20.04.2022., a partnership meeting was held on the premises of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The partnership meeting was attended by:

Volleyball Federation of Italy; Ministry of Youth and Sports of Bulgaria; International Federation of Sports Officials; Croatian Volleyball Federation; Volleyball Federation of Turkey; Basketball Federation of France; University of Seville - Spain

The guidelines were presented at the meeting and the steps for further implementation of the project were explained:

UNIVERSITY OF SEVILLE - will create an educational program for judges, all with the aim of building the soft skills needed to improve the refereeing role in sports.

INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR SPORTS OFFICERS - will conduct a survey on the number of judges at the local, regional and international levels in partner countries and the structure of judges by gender. The research will also include an analysis of judges' needs for soft skills education. The aim of this work package is to create a mentoring program for young judges.

In addition to the role of the host, OC BIH presented the activities of the project realized so far, among them a recent workshop for professors/teachers and students of sports and physical education.

The realization of this project is by the end of 2022, and we expect a lot of activities to spread positive values by improving the role of judges in sports.
