Olympic Museum: OLYMPIC LEGACY Art Workshop

A two-day art workshop with 40 talented pupils, organized by the BiH Olympic Committee in cooperation with the International Olympic Committee, ended today at the renovated Olympic Museum in Sarajevo.

The workshop was led by Faris Ramadanović, an academic graphic artist. The first group of 20 students from the High School of Applied Arts showed enviable artistic achievements on the theme of rich Olympic heritage, and the winner, whose artwork was declared the best, is Emina Koso.

- This is my first time at the Olympic Museum. The topic I chose was old beans because my grandfather kept telling me how he sold them during the Olympics, said Koso, who donated her winning work to the Museum where it will also be exhibited.

In the second group, 20 students from Sarajevo primary schools, ten pupils from the Safvet-beg Bašagić Elementary School and ten pupils from the Catholic School Center Elementary School, also painted exhibits from the Museum.
