Overview of the first competition day of the BH team at the Mediterranean Games Oran 2022

The first day of competition at the Mediterranean Games Oran 2022 ended with great performances by karate players Nejra Sipović and Hamza Turulj who won bronze medals and thus are the first part of the BH team that provided Bosnia and Herzegovina with medals from the Mediterranean Games Oran 2022., Prof.dr Milanko Mučibabić and vice president of OC BiH Marijan Kvesić visited the Mediterranean village and personally congratulated our athletes on their successes.

Below is an overview of other competitions:

Karate

→ Nejra Sipovic - bronze medal

→ Hamza Turulja - bronze medal

→ Pavle Dujaković - fifth place

→ Iris Ćorić - lost in the first elimination round

→ Paola Kostić - lost in the first elimination round

Boxing

→ Leo Cvitanović secured a place in the quarterfinals with a victory over the Turkish national team

→ Gianni Dedić - secured a place in the quarterfinals 

→ Haris Aganović - secured a place in the quarterfinals 

→ Nikola Ivković - secured a place in the quarterfinals

→ Alen Rahimić - secured a place in the quarterfinals

→ Luka Veljović lost the fight over the national team of Turkey and thus ended his performance at these Games

Bowling

→ Andrija Ćorluka ran two races in the progressive throw discipline today, and achieved a total of 78 points, which was enough for 7th place and a race in the quarterfinals where he is fighting with the Slovenian national team for placement in the semifinals.

→ In the category of precision eruption, after the first series he achieved an excellent fourth place, and tomorrow morning the second series of precision eruption follows. After the second series, we can expect a place in the quarterfinals and finally a fight for the semifinals.
