President of the OK BiH Dr. Izet Rađo, Vice Presidents of the OK BiH Marijan Kvesić and Prof. dr. Milanko Mučibabić, and the General Secretary of the OK BiH Assoc. dr. Said Fazlagić, in the premises of the BiH Olympic Committee, received a taekwondo delegation on the occasion of winning medals at the European Senior Championship in Olympic categories, the European Junior Championship and the World Cadet Championship.

In front of the BiH Taekwondo Association, the president of the Association, Samir Šarić, and bronze Ada Avdagić and Ibrahim Kolja (coach), bronze Nadina Mehmedović and Elvin Mehmedović (coach), silver Sara Pidro and Hamza Malbašić (coach), bronze Benjamin Husić and Belmir Berberović (coach), and bronze Lamija Alihodžić and Mija Ukropina (coach), attended the ceremonial reception.

The leaders of OK BiH congratulated the young athletes and their coaches, as well as the management of the Taekwondo Association of BiH, on the results achieved and the medals won, and wished them much luck and success in the future.

It was pointed out that the fact that among the medal winners are scholarship holders of the Olympic Committee of BiH, which means that the umbrella sports institution in BiH recognizes the potential of talented athletes from this sport, is particularly pleasing.

The representatives of the Taekwondo Federation thanked the BiH Olympic Committee for the continued support, and pointed out that the activities in the coming period are particularly focused on the preparations and qualifying competitions of the athletes ahead of the "Paris 2024" Olympic Games.

On this occasion, the President of the OK BiH, Dr. Izet Rađo, informed that on the proposal of the members of the Presidency of the OK BiH, prizes of 2,500 KM are awarded individually for the bronze medals won by Ada Avdagić and Nadine Mehmedović at the European Senior Championship in the Olympic categories in Tallinn 2023, Estonia.
