Dr. Janez Kocijančič, a great friend of all people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Olympic Committee of BiH, passed away after a short and severe illness.

Dr. Janez Kocijančič, a great friend of all people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Olympic Committee of BiH, passed away after a short and severe illness.  He was immeasurably credited for the development of the Olympic Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina through his engagement at the "Winter Olympic Games in 1984", and his huge contribution to the organization of "EYOF Sarajevo and East Sarajevo2019". His speech in front of the full stadium "Asim Ferhatović Hase" at the opening of "EYOF", will always be remembered.

"We have lost a true friend, and in this regard we express our deep condolences and respect to his family, the Olympic Committee of Slovenia and the European Olympic Committees," said Izet Radjo, the pPresident of the Olympic Committee ofBosnia and Herzegovina.
