Organized by the Judo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the European Judo Cup for Juniors "Sarajevo 2023" brought together 268 young competitors from 18 countries who fought for medals in seven weight categories in both male and female events.

This year's first competition, "Sarajevo 2023", which is on the calendar of the European Judo Union (EJU), is scored for the World Junior Ranking List of the IJF, justified last year's recognition as the best technical organizer of all European competitions. By the end of the year, the Judo Federation of BiH expects to organize the European Cup for seniors in East Sarajevo and the European Open (qualifications for the Paris 2023 Olympic Games) again in Sarajevo.

At the two-day cup, Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by 29 junior men and 29 junior women, who won two silver and three bronze medals and used the opportunity to prove the quality of the new generations of one of the most trophy-winning sports in our country.
