From 26.02. until March 10, 2024, the Arnold Classic World Championship in weightlifting, powerlift/deadlift discipline, was held in the American city of Columbus, Ohio.

The first place and gold medal in the category up to 75 kg was won by our experienced competitor Sejfo Šehović, who also broke the world record by lifting 283.5 kg.

80 countries participated in this World Championship, and Sejfo Šehović was the only representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the region and the Balkans.

We send our sincere congratulations to Mr. Šehović, with the wish that in the future there will be no limits in the string of his and our sporting successes.
