Successfully completed: Technical Course Coaches-Figure Skating

In the period from 9 to 16 February 2020, organized by the Olympic Committee of BiH and the Federation of Skating Sports of BiH, and under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee, a Technical Course for figure skating coaches was held in Sarajevo.

In the period from 9 to 16 February 2020, organized by the Olympic Committee of BiH and the Federation of Skating Sports of BiH, and under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee, a Technical Course for figure skating coaches was held in Sarajevo.

 The opportunity to gain new knowledge and experience was given to 14 coaches. The course was led by the expert of the World Skating Union (ISU), Mrs. Ivana Jakupčević Marinković, and as figure skating is a complex sport, experts in their field, Jelisaveta Kokic Ryjkin (GER), Katarina Grof Mitrović (SRB),Belinda Schoenberger (AUT) andKarlo Požgajčić (BIH) also participated in the education.  The course included the training of coaches on and off the ice (ballet, choreography and fitness training) as well as learning the refereeing rules. The participants spent 84 working hours in active work, and the opportunity was used for some of them to attend the umpires' seminar as one of the conditions for obtaining the certificate of a national umpire. In addition to demo skaters from the Croatian national team, Hana Cvijanović and Hana Kosić, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zara Husedžinović and Hena Uzunović, twenty young skaters from all the clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, got the opportunity to train with the expert.
